Class description

Making a shaker box is a very satisfying way to learn basic principles of working with wood. If you don’t have space, time, or money to build a wooden boat, this is a great alternative. You will carve a rolling bevel, steambend, plane tight joints, and fasten with copper. Instead of a boat, you will leave with an attractive and unique nod to an era before the soulless ubiquity of Tupperware. 

The resulting pieces will bring function and beauty to your home or will become an excellent gift for loved ones. This class will provide everything you need to make 3 beautiful shaker boxes of different sizes. This is a 2-day intensive version of this class.
