Class description

Get ready for the paddling season by learning how to build a canoe!  Sign up for a full class or dip your toe into the world of boatbuilding by signing up for a 3-hour session. This is a great way to try-out woodworking and boatbuilding without the commitments to tools or expensive classes.  

Make it a date-night or a family activity by joining with your loved ones. Or come alone and meet new people who also like doing unique activities in their spare time. We will steam bend ribs, cut accurate joints with sharp hand-tools, lash and rivet together parts into an aesthetically pleasing, trip-worthy watercraft.  

No previous experience required. Age limit 16+.  

In order to receive a refund, all cancellations have to be made at least a week prior to the class.  

July 14th-28th:

• Tuesdays July 14th, 21th, and 28th 6:30pm - 9:30pm
• Saturdays July 18th, 25th: 9:30am - 4:30 pm
• Sunday July 26th: 9:30am - 4:30 pm

$75/Session for daily sign ups. 

$500 for full class

The canoe will be raffled to students for the price of materials ($900). Students who signed up for the full build will take priority in the raffle.
